Our Mission at Grace Fellowship Women’s Ministry

Our Core Purpose: We are dedicated to glorifying the Lord and demonstrating His love to all.

Our Key Objectives:

  1. Discipleship: Cultivating spiritual growth and connection.
  2. Bible Study: Deepening our understanding of scripture.
  3. Holiness and Accountability: Striving for personal and communal integrity.
  4. Encouragement and Prayer: Offering support and spiritual intercession.
  5. Fellowship and Events: Creating a sense of community and shared experiences.
  6. Service: Using our talents to fulfill the needs within our church and the broader community.

Leadership Team: Our guiding lights are Virginia Hagood, Carol Calahan, and Melissa Sibert.

Bible Study Sessions (School Year):

  • Wednesday Evening: Join us from 5:30-7:30pm for a fellowship meal, Bible study, and childcare at the church.
  • Tuesday Morning Community Study: Held in the sanctuary, 10:00-11:00am, led by Mary Shea Gaston. Includes childcare and light refreshments.

  • Thursday Morning for Senior Women: From 10:00-11:30am at church, with light refreshments and led by Gwen Sibert.
  • Theology Book Club: Meeting every other month on the 4th Monday to explore theological books and their application in modern relationships.

Fellowship Activities:

  • Celebrating life’s milestones with baby and bridal showers.
  • Craft nights focused on creating items for community needs (e.g., blankets for nursing homes, pillowcases for children’s hospitals).
  • “Speed Friendship” events for quick and fun socializing.
  • A culture of encouragement through card sending and the Secret Sister program.
